Where in the Bible does it say we should clap our hands when we sing praise to the Lord?
Take a Bible trip:
Psalm 47:1 “O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.” KJV Bible
Isaiah 55:12 “For you shall go out [from the spiritual exile caused by sin and evil into the homeland and] with joy and be led forth [by your Leader, the Lord Himself, and His word] with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” Amplified Bible
Informational Note:
I have read that clapping of hands does good for our heart health by keeping blood pressure level. As the blood circulates through the body our organs receive benefit by regular clapping. Our palms have nerve endings and are stimulated when we clap, which helps our kidney, digestive tract, and lower back.
Clapping our hands depicts our approval, admiration and praise. It is no wonder that God has chosen this exercise of hand clapping to bring health to our bodies and Praise to Him.
I just might join the trees, mountains and hills at any time singing and clapping as my expression of Joy and thankfulness for all the good that God has done for me.
